Welcome to Greeting Shirt, an interactive platform to use in our daily communication to enhance the emotional feeling in interpersonal relationships. It displays the facial expression covered up by masks through the customized scan function with the AI assistant. This project aims to emphasize users' emotions on the wearable physical surface by generating a more obvious display that draws attention to users' facial expression, especially the mouth part through the customized machine learning function.

What's the problem?

Humans are social animals. During the ongoing pandemic, face masks and social distancing has become new social norms among people, resulting to less interpersonal communications. My research proved that the lack of touching and facial expression implies cold attitudes or indifference in interpersonal relationships. Therefore, it is essential to implement a new platform to emphasize emotional feeling and supplement the facial expression part that has been covered up by masks.
